Support HC

Invest in Education

Houston Christian High School was founded on vision and philanthropy. Each goal that has been reached was possible through the financial support of a person, or people, who supported the vision for this school. Words can never express the gratitude to the founders and early funders who saw the future of this school. From a 45-acre mulch-field to a well-designed and beautiful high school campus, we have much to be grateful for and many to thank.

Our Philanthropy Star

The Philanthropy Star at Houston Christian High School represents the many meaningful pathways our community makes a lasting difference. Each point—Mustang Fund, Special Projects, Endowment, Events, and Planned Giving—stands as a vital expression of support that fuels our mission and advances our vision.

While each effort shines on its own, the true power lies in how they work together driving excellence, deepening impact, and creating unmatched opportunities for our students. Through the generosity of our community, we’re not only shaping lives today—we’re building a legacy that will bless generations to come.

Points of Our Star: Ways to Engage

List of 5 items.

  • Mustang Fund & Legacy Bricks

As an independent school, Houston Christian relies on community support to meet needs beyond the annual operating budget. The Mustang Fund (HC's Annual Fund) plays a vital role—enhancing classroom materials, faculty development, and co-curricular programs. It offers flexibility to meet immediate needs while upholding our mission. Our goal is 100% participation from faculty, staff, trustees, and parents. Every gift demonstrates belief in our students, faculty, and future.

With a minimum Mustang Fund donation of $500 or more, you may honor your child with a Senior Brick! This brick will be engraved with text that you choose and will be placed on campus grounds, becoming a permanent part of our school. If you have already made a Mustang Fund donation this year, that donation can be applied toward the Senior Brick.

With a minimum Mustang Fund donation of $500 or more, Alumni can also join their classmates in supporting HC with a Legacy Brick!

Endowments provide lasting financial strength. These permanent funds generate ongoing support, enabling us to plan confidently while advancing priorities like student aid, faculty development, and campus preservation. Endowments ensure impact today—and for generations to come.

    Named endowments:
    • Help students directly in the form of financial aid or merit scholarships
    • Support HC faculty and staff excellence
    • Support program excellence
    • Provide campus enhancements
  • Special Events

Events at Houston Christian build community, celebrate mission, and raise essential funds. Each gathering fosters connection, deepens relationships, and strengthens our culture. They reflect who we are—grounded in faith, fellowship, and a shared commitment to developing Christian leaders.

There are many ways to be involved and connected at Houston Christian while also supporting the annual goals! Not only can you impact the fundraising goals, but you can meet new friends while volunteering to help make each event come to fruition. Please consider participating in these events.
