StangTech Robotics Team Hosts EMPOW(H)ER Event

Over the summer, our robotics team, StangTech, hosted an event called EMPOW(H)ER with the goal of connecting confidence in the workshop with young women.⁠ The hands-on seminar was extremely successful. Women faculty and Mustang Alums came together to teach our students important skills, like critical thinking and construction fundamentals. Young women left with a self-made accessory (wooden phone docking station, for example), knowledge of construction basics, and most importantly, confidence to create innovative ideas with their own hands. We love seeing our Mustangs learn, grow, and innovate!
