Lady Mustang reaches 1,000 points in Varsity Basketball

Houston Christian senior shooting guard Kayla Mackel made history when she broke the 1,000-point barrier on Tuesday, November 1, against John Cooper. Our community celebrated this incredible accomplishment before the Lady Mustangs took on the Episcopal Knights last Friday, February 4. Kayla and her team dominated the court that night, ending their regular season undefeated! Kayla is a 4-year varsity starter and an All-SPC player who is taking her talent to Colorado College next year on a basketball scholarship. We are so proud of you, Kayla! It has been such a joy to see how you have used God’s gift to teach others leadership and perseverance. GO MUSTANGS!
