Houston Christian Hosts Annual Networking Marketplace
Houston Christian High School recently welcomed parents, alumni, and community leaders to campus for the annual Networking Marketplace—an interactive event designed to help students develop the essential soft skills they will carry into college, careers, and leadership roles.
Held in the MetroNational Gym, the event created a dynamic, real-world networking environment where upperclassmen practiced shaking hands, maintaining eye contact, initiating conversations, and presenting themselves with confidence. Guests circulated throughout the space, offering students guidance, encouragement, and authentic opportunities to refine their communication skills.
Parents and alumni also had the opportunity to connect with each other before engaging with the students—strengthening the partnership that defines the Houston Christian experience.
The Networking Marketplace continues to be a powerful example of how HC prepares students for life beyond the classroom. By bringing professionals directly to campus, the school provides a supportive environment where students can practice, ask questions, and grow into poised, capable leaders ready to make an impact.
