HC Hires New Head Boys’ Soccer Coach: Remon Maximos
Houston Christian High School is proud to announce Remon Maximos as the new Head Boys’ Soccer Coach.
Coach Maximos brings a strong background in both the UIL and the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC), where he has served as a Head Coach for boys’ soccer and an Assistant Coach for both boys’ and girls’ programs. His diverse experience and deep knowledge of the game will be instrumental as he takes the reins of the Mustang soccer program. In addition to coaching, Maximos also serves as a Math teacher at Houston Christian, allowing him to be present and engaged with student-athletes daily.
Preseason training is already underway, and Coach Maximos has quickly begun connecting with players, setting expectations, and building momentum for the upcoming season. Known for his passion for soccer and his clear vision for team development, he is committed to creating a culture of growth, discipline, and competitive excellence.
“Coach Maximos is a tremendous addition to our athletics program,” said Terry Pirtle, Athletic Director. “His leadership, experience, and daily presence on campus will help elevate our boys’ soccer program to the next level, both on and off the field.”
Coach Maximos’s leadership philosophy emphasizes developing athletes holistically—helping them grow not just as soccer players, but as students and individuals of character.
Houston Christian looks forward to an exciting new chapter under his leadership as the Mustangs prepare for the upcoming season.
