Houston Christian Hosts Over 130 Colleges for Annual College Fair

Houston Christian High School was honored to welcome admission representatives from more than 130 colleges and universities across the nation for the annual HC College Fair on Wednesday, October 1. The event brought together an impressive range of institutions—public and private, Christian and secular, large and small—each representing a potential future home for HC students.

 

Held in both the MetroNational and McNair gyms to accommodate the record number of participants, the fair provided an exceptional opportunity for students to explore diverse academic pathways, connect with college representatives, and gather valuable insight—all without leaving campus.

 

Students attended during the school day, using personalized digital barcodes to share their information and engage in meaningful conversations with college representatives. Parents were also invited to attend, making the event a shared experience for families as they navigate the college search process together.

 

Houston Christian’s College Counseling Department thoughtfully organizes the fair each year to support students and families through every stage of the college journey. The department’s strong relationships with colleges nationwide have earned HC a reputation as one of the most welcoming and well-organized fairs in the region.
