Beyond These Walls is a unique program that provides Houston Christian students the opportunity to learn firsthand about other countries and cultures through missions, education, and adventure. The world is our classroom here at Houston Christian High School, and we encourage all our students to take advantage of this philosophy by participating in one of the many trips our school embarks on each year.

Come learn with Houston Christian High School, where education is a journey. Over the past two decades, students have traveled to dozens of destinations off the beaten path to experience culture, grow in leadership, and deepen their spiritual understanding.

Whether for a college visit, fine arts tour, or wilderness challenge, the students of Houston Christian are encouraged to explore and learn from people beyond their sphere of influence. Qualifications for trips vary depending on location and purpose, but we’re certain you’ll find a trail for you to blaze!

Spring Break 2026: Peru

Discover the wonders of Peru on an unforgettable journey through Lima, Cusco, and the Amazon. Explore historic landmarks in Lima, walk among the ancient ruins of the Sacred Valley, and experience the breathtaking beauty of Machu Picchu. Then, venture deep into the Amazon rainforest by canoe, where you’ll encounter incredible wildlife and natural wonders. From vibrant cities to ancient sites and jungle adventures, this trip promises memories to last a lifetime.
