Houston Christian Celebrates Seniors at Fine Arts Signing Day

Houston Christian High School proudly recognized a group of exceptional seniors during its Fine Arts Signing Day, celebrating their commitment to continue their artistic pursuits at leading colleges and universities across the country.

The event honored students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their craft in theatre, film, design, and culinary arts. Surrounded by family, friends, and faculty, each student marked this important milestone as they prepare to take the next step in their creative and academic journeys.

Sofia Conshafter will attend the University of Texas at Austin, where she will study Technical Theatre with a focus in Scenic Design, while Rosemary Moore will also attend the University of Texas, pursuing Arts & Entertainment Technology.

Andrew Knobbe will study Film & TV Production at New York University. Victoria Lunam will attend the Culinary Institute of America, majoring in Culinary Science: Culinary Arts.

Annabelle Cody will pursue Musical Theatre at Shenandoah Conservatory, and Major Tarwater will study BFA Musical Theatre at Pace University. Mia Chieng will attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, where she will pursue Musical Theatre.

Carter Akompi will attend Howard University, where he plans to major in Finance while continuing his passion for the arts with minors in Musical Theatre and Dance.

Fine Arts Signing Day highlights Houston Christian’s commitment to cultivating creativity, excellence, and discipline in its students. Through years of dedication, these seniors have developed not only their artistic talents but also the confidence and perseverance needed to succeed at the next level.
