Fall Fine Arts Concert Showcases Incredible Talent
Houston Christian High School's Fine Arts program hosted our community for their annual Concert on the Lawn performance. HC's Repertory Dance Company, DOXA, entertained the community with their beautiful dance performance. Our community enjoyed the sound of beautiful harmony from the Houston Christian High School Choral. Their performance included songs “The Lord Bless and Keep You,” “The Majesty and Glory of Your Name,” “Mia & Sebastian’s Theme, Another Day of Sun,” “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing,” “I’ll Make A Man Out of You,” “Touch the Sky,” and crowd favorite “He Never Failed Me Yet.” The audience got to witness musical excellence when the Houston Christian High School’s Orchestra program gave an exceptional performance. We #GiveThanks for HC Alum James Wilson ’18, who returned to campus to play the cello with our Mustangs! All eyes were on the Houston Christian High School Band when they performed. Our community heard “Into the Clouds,” and then The Mustang Band Trombone Section performed “Slim Trombone.” Our 25th Anniversary and “Give Thanks” theme were honored with a performance of “With a Grateful Heart,” and the concert ended with a lively performance of "Pirates of the Caribbean."
