• Sunset Prayer Walk

  Each year, our Dads Club hosts an evening of unity, faith, and purpose as fathers from the Houston Christian community gather on the eve of the new school year for our Annual Sunset Prayer Walk. At sunset, we will meet at the Founders Tree to lift up every student, teacher, staff member, and family in prayer—asking God to cover our campus with His presence and peace throughout the year ahead.

  ogether, we will walk the grounds of our school, stopping at key areas to pray intentionally over classrooms, athletic fields, hallways, and gathering spaces—inviting God’s protection, wisdom, and love to dwell in every corner of our community.

  
  This meaningful tradition reminds us of the power of prayer and the strength of fathers united in faith. We invite all dads to be part of this sacred moment as we dedicate the coming school year to God’s guidance and grace.

• Annual Chili Cook-out

  Get ready for a night of fierce flavors, friendly competition, and faith-filled fellowship at our Annual Chili Cook-Out! Fathers and families come together to battle for the title of Best Chili in a mouthwatering cook-off that heats up the spirit as much as the taste buds.
  
  

  Before the games begin, join us for a tailgate party full of great food, great company, and great conversation—where dads and their families gather not only to cheer on our teams but also to connect on a deeper level through biblical fellowship and prayer.
  
  

  Then, stay for an exciting evening of home basketball and soccer games, as we welcome our competitor to campus for an unforgettable night of winter sports. This event is more than just a cook-out and games—it’s a time to build community, support our athletes, and lean into God’s presence as we share in fellowship and faith.

• Devotional Series

  Join us on select Fridays as we dive deep into the intersection of faith and leadership in our Faith in Leadership Devotional Series. This inspiring gathering is designed for Houston Christian leaders and dads who seek to understand how faith shapes not only their personal lives but also their careers and leadership roles within our community.
  
  

  Through a collective book study, we explore powerful insights and biblical principles that guide godly leadership—learning from scripture and from one another how to lead with integrity, humility, and purpose. Each session is an opportunity to grow spiritually, reflect thoughtfully, and encourage fellow leaders to embody Christ-like character in every decision and action.

• Socials & Mixers

  Throughout the year, the Houston Christian Dads Club hosts a variety of socials and mixers designed to strengthen our community in fun and meaningful ways. These gatherings range from providing sweet treats to students after a spirited pep rally to hosting relaxed evenings just for dads at local venues for fellowship and connection.
