Houston Christian Mens Chaplain Mike Skinner Selected to Speak at 2026 CESA Symposium

Houston Christian High School is proud to announce that Mens Chaplain Mike Skinner has been selected to lead a breakout session at the 2026 Council on Educational Standards and Accountability Symposium, taking place October 4-6.

Skinner will co-present alongside Penny Harrison, Steve Kyle, and Joel Pelland in a session titled "Forming the Formers: A Framework for Parent Discipleship in Christian Schools." The session will equip Christian school leaders with a practical framework for investing in the spiritual formation of parents, recognizing that the home and the school work best when they are working together toward the same purpose.

Being invited to lead a breakout session at the CESA Symposium is a meaningful distinction. CESA exists to support and strengthen Christian schools across the country, and its annual Symposium brings together some of the most thoughtful leaders in Christian education. The fact that Skinner and his co-presenters were selected to contribute reflects both the depth of their thinking and the relevance of their work.

Houston Christian is grateful for the way Mike pours into our students every day and is proud to see him bring that same passion for discipleship to a national stage this fall.
