Thank you so much for going Back to the 80s with us. Oh, what a night!

We are so grateful to all of you who were able to support the gala either through your attendance and underwriting, your generous donations, or time spent volunteering to make the evening so TOTALLY AWESOME! The funds we were able to raise bolster and enhance our children’s experience at Houston Christian. Not only was the night magical, supporting the mission and vision for HC, but Mustang Parents had FUN celebrating our school with our community and the Spazmatics! You showed up big HC and we are so excited to share with you that this year‘s gala raised over $500K, a school record! To those who contributed, thank you for making this the most successful gala in school history! You, like totally, rock!

Houston Christian’s vision is to “inspire young people to lead by uniting faith, intellect and gifts to reach their greatest promise.” During the last few challenging years for our school, country and world, our children have been loved and protected while still receiving a rigorous college-preparatory education and having access to numerous fine arts, athletic, and academic electives. Our children will go out into the world loved, balanced, prepared and ready because of the teachers and staff at Houston Christian.

We are incredibly blessed to be able to send our children to this amazing school! We are excited to see how the funds raised from this special event will be able to benefit every Mustang. We are infinitely appreciative of our amazing sponsors, underwriters, table hosts and volunteers. Our gala team was second to none as proven through countless hours spent and a goal in mind for nothing short of success. We are blown away by your generous and thoughtful support and beyond grateful for our HC community!

AWESOME GALA, DUDE!

2 AMAZING Gala Chairs, 225 attendees, 28 sponsors and underwriters, 14 student volunteers, 30+ parent volunteers, 145+ auction items (including one of the cutest little four-legged furballs we’ve ever seen-Ringo/Charlie), a “paddles up” that blew our goal out of the water, a DeLorean parked out front, slinky/Rubik's cube/cool shades galore, airbrush truckers hats, totally awesome 80s tunes sung by The Spazmatics and spun by HC’s very own British DJ Calvin Venus, and some rad dancers that almost shook the roof off equaled a night of support for Houston Christian High School that exceeded all expectations!

This year’s event at The Ballroom at Bayou Place was our best ever! It raised more funds than we have raised before and we haven’t even opened the after-auction auction yet! Thank you to our Gala Committee, led by parents Amber Mackel and Holly Spears, guests for joining us, all those who donated to us, and a huge thank you to all our sponsors and underwriters! You all contributed to the future education needs of students at Houston Christian High School and it couldn't have happened without you!
