George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Visit

On November 7, 2022, our freshman class took a field trip to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station. This class of leaders got to explore the museum, discover more about the Bush legacy in the library, and pay their respects to 41 and his wife, Barbara, at their burial garden. Students learned that the mission of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library is to preserve and make available for research the official records, personal papers, and artifacts of President George H.W. Bush, to support democracy, promote civic education, and increase historical understanding of U.S. national experience through the life and times of George H.W. Bush.

Houston Christian High School’s George and Barbara Bush Center for Scholars and Leaders is the only high school leadership center bearing the name and integrating the leadership legacies of a U.S. president. While our students learn in this dedicated and intentional space daily to develop scholarship and leadership skills, we love having the opportunity to take our Mustangs on the road!
