Art Students Earn Top Ranks at Houston Rodeo

Houston Christian students earned top awards for their spectacular pieces at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Contest. Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Contest!

 

Olivia Jenkins won Best of Show 3D Division for "Last Ride" using the Sgraffito Technique on Kiln Fired Clay. Josiah Wu won the Gold Medal for "Ready for Flight" using watercolor and micro pen, and Moriah Schisler for "Reflections of the West" using Sgraffito Technique on Kiln Fired Clay. The Special Merit was awarded to Karli Kapche for "My Good Cluck Charm" using Prisma colors.
