Boys Tennis Takes 2017-18 SPC Championship
In a stunning season, the Houston Christian boys varsity tennis team took the 2017-18 Southwest Preparatory Conference championship with an undefeated record of 9-0.

A team of eight students, competed against 15 teams throughout the state, with strong winning records across all competitors. Students Kenner Taylor went undefeated at line 1 singles, Jakob Mosvold at line 2 singles, and Peyton Erck at line 3 singles. Graham Taylor and Matthew Caldwell, No. 1 doubles, only lost 1 match all season.
"In 2018-19 school year we are losing one player from the top 7, but are excited for a strong new freshman coming in and I expect to have a good shot at competing for the title next year," said Tennis Head Coach Ann Hopper.
