Livingston Learning Commons
The Livingston Learning Commons offers a wide range of resources that are accessible electronically from anywhere on campus or from home. The collection includes over 3,000 print items and thousands of ebooks and electronic articles that may be located by using EBSCO's Discovery Service on the student portal.
A certified Librarian with a master's degree works collaboratively with faculty to assist students in blending critical thinking and information skills with curriculum content and technology.
The Library is one of a handful of high school libraries in Texas to subscribe to JStor, a highly acclaimed online archive of important scholarly journals used for research in colleges and universities.
The Library also subscribes to a variety of other online databases intended for research and informational needs. These resources include reliable full-text articles, streaming video, online books and encyclopedias from thousands of national & international academic journals, news publications, magazines, reference books and US government publications.
Passwords for online subscription databases are necessary for off campus use. They may be obtained from the Librarian or found on the Library class page through the Portal.
