College Application Information
The Common Application
Click below for a quick guide to creating an account with The Common Application. Please note that you should use ONLY the Common Application of any other options for application types your college accepts. For example, TCU allows applicants to use 3 different types of applications - the CA, ApplyTexas, and a TCU application. If ANY SCHOOL to which you apply accepts the CA, please DO NOT use any other application type. If you are applying to more than on CA school (such as TCU, SMU, and Rice) it is less work to use the CA because you will only have to complete a majority of the information one time!

Students and parents have 24 hour access to print unofficial transcripts through NetClassroom at any time while they are enrolled at HC.
Requests for official transcripts must be made to the Registrar or Counselor at least 14 days in advance of delivery. Senior students who need an official transcript for college applications must see their counselor, in person, who will submit all official transcripts directly to the college via Naviance, electronic submission or mail. HC is accountable for the authenticity and accuracy of school records and will only send official transcripts directly from HC to the requested agency or school. For any application or item that must be mailed in one package, HC is happy to mail the entire package after adding an official transcript to the packet. Official transcripts will not be given to students or parents to deliver or mail.
HC will forward official transcripts on behalf of current or former students at no cost.
