Student Athletic Trainers

What does a student athletic trainer do?

The Houston Christian Sports Medicine Program is very important to the success of the Mustang athletic programs.  We provide injury prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation for our student athletes.  Student athletic trainers assist with or perform duties such as practice preparation, taping, administering treatments, and providing first-aid.

Requirements for being a student athletic trainer:

1.  Submit Application

2.  Grades - must be passing at all times.

3.  Probation period - Applicant must complete 20 hours on probation.

4.  Must attend a minimum of 3 practices per week to attend games.

5. You are responsible for transportation to and from practices.
