Day 4 - Science Course/Writing
Houston Christian prides itself on being a school that serves the greater Houston Community. We seek to welcome students from all over the Huston area. Because of this, Jump Start will provide students with an opportunity to meet 20-25 of their classmates before the first day of school. It is our hope that friendships will be started during these 4 sessions. We hope they walk on campus with confidence! Knowing a few faces helps to calm the first day jitters!
Whether your student is joining our community from a public or private school, we want to emphasize God's presence at the start of this new journey.
“And the priest said to them, “Go in peace. The journey on which you go is under the eye of the Lord.” judges 18:6
Each students’ walk with the Lord will be their own. In Jump Start we strive to assist students with their journey by introducing the use of God’s word in an academic setting and sharing our ideas of our faith in Christ.
“Jump Start was my first glimpse into my life at HC. I met friends, learned about class expectations, and saw God at work. I knew I was at the right school.”

“Trevor came home today so positive about what he is learning and how much it is helping with the reading assignment. Now, for a teenage boy to make those comments is really something!” LOL
